From the church of Nuestra Senora de la Llana at Cerezo de Ríotirón near Burgos
The Virgin with Christ seated on her lap is flanked, on the left, by two magi and, on the right, by a seated Joseph; the third magi is missing. The group, which may have originally been made for the main portal, was, at a later date, set into a side wall of the church at Cerezo de Ríotirón. The rhythmic pleats, hook folds, and blocky masses of the figures as characteristic of Castillan sculpture in the late 12th century.

Subject: JSC2012-E-132264 (8 Aug. 2012) --- Personnel from NASA's Johnson Space Center and Kennedy Space Center practice recovering Orion's parachutes at the Neutral Buoyancy Laboratory in Houston. The teams were determining the best methods for retrieving the chutes from the water after Orion's splashdown. Each main chute weighs close to 300 pounds, and the water doubles that weight. Dating from about 1640, the Barbican is the main gateway through the old city walls of Warsaw.
During World War II, as with most of Warsaw, the Barbican was almost completely destroyed, and has since been fully restored.
