Shell was the last brand of fuel to be sold from this site, the last street view image showing this is September 2009.
Almost six years had passed before the next street view image was done which showed that the site had been decomissioned and abandoned, just leaving a small section of the curved canopy edge above the former shop which was now black.
The rest of the canopy is in the colour scheme of a brand called Telegraph which the 2015 street view shows the faint traces of lettering on the roadside canopy edge.
By May 2018 Sammys Car Sales had opened up here who still occupy the site in the present day, remains of the Shell colours are starting to appear through the remaining curved section of canopy edge.
