...patience. Today was our first time back at church for worship service. Our pastor was sending us a daily devotion and a Sunday message for the last 11 weeks. He was staying connected to the congregation and we appreciated the effort.
Plus I made my mask from some old polo shirts. I added loops to hang on my ears and if feels very comfortable and I could breath and talk easily.

I've had so much coffee today, it's ridicules. The sad part is, I could honestly fall asleep right now haha. I hardly have time in the morning before work to do my daily devotion so I do it after work. Today's was real cute, it talked about how more people pray while in the car and someone else is driving. It continued to talk about two little old ladies who both could barely see over the dashboard. They ran three red lights and were never hit, the passenger said "Mildred you just ran three red lights!" and Mildred replied "Am I driving?" So we need to remember whose "driving" our lives! Hopefully not Mildred! =]

Proverbs 14:9 "Fools mock at making amends for sin..."
Sin cannot be ignored - it must be dealt with.
The wages/ the price tag on sin is death (Rm.6:23)
Jesus paid that price for us on the cross (Rm.4:25, 5:9; Gal.2:16, 3:13; Titus 2:14)

TCIS Residence Life Program was extremely beneficial for me to develop independence, faith, and maturity. The clear rules and expectations allowed me to spend my time and make choices wisely. For example, study halls and deep cleaning taught me the importance of completing my responsibilities. Also, I appreciated participating in assigned chores on a regular basis as well as daily devotion and fellowship with other Christian peers and teachers. Through these experiences, I was able to adjust to life in college smoothly. Lastly, among countless memories as a dorm student, being a part of the spiritual retreat as well as celebrating American holidays such as Thanksgiving and Halloween with food and traditions also remain as unforgettable experiences in my teenage years. These memories were possible solely because I was part of the Residence Life Program.
The TCIS Boarding Program is very special to me because it is where I met my current life and spiritual mentors, best friend, and my fiancé – we are getting married next month! As a student in the boarding program, I constantly received emotional, academic and religious support from my dorm parents, brothers and sisters. Seven years have passed after graduation, and these people are still a significant part and role model in my life.
God's Word is everlasting. It was from the beginning and will endure to the end. Its message is relevant to every generation. It's quick and sharp, a discerner of the heart. Its able to wash our heart and our mind. It gives us an anchor throughout the storms of life. God's love is revealed on every page.

Hebrews 4:12 tells us, God’s word is alive, it’s quick and powerful. It’s the sword of the Spirit (Eph. 6:17). Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God (Rom. 10:17). God’s word effectually works in us (1 Thes. 2:13). We are sanctified by the word of God and prayer (1 Tim. 4:5). It lives and abides forever (1 Pt. 1:23). All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable (2 Tim. 3:16).
It's God's Word that washes our minds and gives us the bearings by which our lives are transformed into Christians (People who are like Christ).

Leviticus tells how a holy God could dwell among sinful people. It powerfully reveals the severity involved when God’s holiness is not reverently regarded. *God's Perfect Peace*

During those dark days when everything seems to go wrong, instead of feeling sorry for yourself – trust God! Go to Jesus and tell Him all about it, praying; "Thank You, Lord for this life lesson and the opportunity to trust you more. Show me what to do, and give me more faith.” Trusting fully in Jesus is the only way to experience His sweet peace that will satisfy the longing in your heart. Knowing and believing that God has it all figured out and you don’t have to worry about a thing - is such a “burden lifter!” God has promised in Isaiah 26:3, to “keep you in perfect peace,” but in order to receive it – you must trust Him! Satan would have you believe that peace is obtained through material possessions or human intervention. However, that is just another one of the devil’s lies because real peace comes from trusting your life to God and knowing He will work out all things for your good. World Peace that everyone talks about won’t happen until Jesus comes – but we can have “God’s Perfect Peace” in our hearts! Leave the worrying to God and pray for more faith, so that you may enjoy His “perfect peace!”

I really, really fell in love with the Farmer's Museum in Cooperstown. If you ever have the opportunity to go...go. The buildings are lovely, and each one is so authentically outfitted inside. The people working there are wonderful and warm, and they are very willing to discuss their different trades with you.
The blacksmith's shop was in full swing when we got there. He was making wrought iron door handles that were needed in one of the other buildings.
While he discussed an order with the shopkeep, I snapped some pictures of his shoppe...
