Day 216 of an Unknown Number
"Inside an Ice Hole"
I don't crave water. However, when I'm thirsty, I'll throw some water flavoring stuff in it, and make it taste better than nothing. Our fridge seems to have a freeze setting on it, so my drink partially.....froze. As I finished it off, I found my photograph for the day, just chillin' in the bottom of my glass. The light was certainly natural. Thanks for checking it out!!

It's always great crossing things off your to do list. Today Stuart got to cross quite a major thing off when he exhibited a picture in an exhibition
The new Caernarfon Station seen under construction on 14th May 2018 in Caernarfon on St Helen's Road.
We went down to have a look at the old Caernarfon Station on the Welsh Highland Railway.
Unfortunately on the day of our visit (14th May 2018) there was no trains running that day!
The new station is close to the car park that we parked in near Caernarfon Castle.
Caernarfon's train station is taking shape with new planned opening date. The new station is due to be finished sometime in summer 2018.
Didn't look quite finished when I saw it!
It replaces a temporary Caernarfon Station that opened in 1997.

We were super productive in the house this morning before an afternoon walk with SarahSo in Uxbridge and a nice meal of leftovers with Meg.
Day 46 of an Undetermined Number
"Nathan Without His Dog"
It was my first and only time at Coney Island. It was cold, desolate and rather sad. I loved it!!! I don't know if it is still there, but there was a statue of a man vomiting into a barrel, with a continuous vomit spout in his mouth. I will never forget that. Of course I have a photograph of it!! My wife's sister lost her glasses on a rollercoaster, we thought our car was stolen, and we were hoodwinked by one of those carnival game con men. I'm not saying that one of us actually went to an ATM to get more cash to hand over to the kid, but.........we were so close to winning a lot of money. Right? Anyway, I spotted this sad little man in the road, and grabbed this quick portrait. I wish I knew his story. I swear he was transported directly from the Great Depression just after losing his job. I wonder where he is today.

July 23, 2015 - I was out on Comox Lake helping with some fry trapping today, the shoreline always yields something interesting :)
Day 324 of an Unknown Number
"The Green Philes"
Sometimes you just have to get back to the basics. What could be more basic than today's subject? It dates back to the beginning of time. We use it to make cheeses. Alexander Fleming was playing with it when he accidentally discovered penicillin. Today's subject is.......mold. This particular mold was found on top of something discovered in the back of our fridge today. I'm not proud of it, but it is true. My wife pulled it out, asked what it was, and immediately thought I was going to take it away and shoot it's portrait. She wouldn't even look at it....until now. Surprise!! It doesn't even matter what it once was because now.....it is art. Goodnight?!!! Thanks for stopping by.

I got a new Kindle. Absolutely love it. Unless there is a book that has a lot of pictures, I would highly recommend it. It's lightweight, non glare, user friendly, and best of all takes up pretty much NO space vs. books.

August 11, 2015 - Also known by many various other names ranging among "Demon Bird", “Devil Bird”, ”Can Opener Face", "Shriek", and his newest one as of today, via Kirk...."Poop Dispenser".
I was the 'Official Photographer' for Trans-Tasman Youth Archery Challenge - 2012. It is a tradition that the Mayor of the host town fires the first three arrows to declare the tournament open. I managed to capture His Worship's third arrow leaving the bow - a photo that made it in to the 'Daily Post' as well! For the record all three arrows hit the target!
I'm in Paris for the rest of the week and it is bitterly cold. I brought my running kit but not sure I can get up enough will power to head out in this in the morning.
9 broken ribs, collapsed gallbladder, lacerations to my upper and lower leg. my lungs and liver too, clots on my spine, liver and left leg and mind blowing pain. 9 days in intensive care, 1st 4wks on special K, 5 initial months in hospital and by the time two years had past, I'd spent 55 wks laying in a hospital bed. The Countess of Chester, Aintree, The Royal and Broadgreen. I've since given up counting the weeks I spend in hospital and considering the amount of operations I have left to go...
The joys of motorcycling, huh? Still, that XJR was a dream to ride.
North Wales Police said they didn’t investigate the accident because where road traffic accidents are concerned they only investigate after there has been a fatality. So as I nearly died on the day and in theatre, by the time the Police look into anything all evidence of road layout/obstruction and witnesses would have long disappeared.

On a serious note, has anyone ever been in a relationship that has taken the wrong turn or seen your parents go through some bad times?
On Saturday, I was listening to “By My Side” by MitiS and a full scene played out in my head. It was so vivid, I kept replaying the song. It did help that the song was new to me and I really liked how it sounded. The more I listened to it, the more I got intoxicated by the idea of wanting to make a music video related to the song before I lost the magic.
(Can’t see the video? It can be found at youtu.be/DuwQDRkpJ18)
My hope is for it to be shared to someone who needs it, it being closure, or for one to understand that there are consequences of their actions.
Thank you for watching and #StayCreative.

I spotted this very special G4 Challenge limited edition Land Rover in Dunkeld in Perthshire. Coincidentally it was parked beside an old Series Land Rover, providing an effective contrast.
Background artificially blurred using Adobe Photoshop as it was cluttered and distracting.

I forgot how many photos I have of Siena. Just grabbed the first one that caught my eye as it's book gorup night. This project is so much easier than a 365!
Located on township road #512 east of range road #60 near Tomahawk, Alberta. Three exposures taken with the Pentax K20D and processed in Photomatix / Topaz Adjust.
