For both me and this lovely house sparrow this morning.

A farmer once said “if you’re a farmer, you have to have faith or you won’t last long.”

By this he meant...that you could pick the best seeds for your crops and be diligent about cultivation and weeding. But farmers know that they have no control over the sun or the rain or temperatures that if not just right, could scorch or freeze their crops. What this farmer discovered is that over his long life, God could be trusted. Thankfulness displaced worry. Faith supplanted anxiety.

We humans persist in stewing over things over which we have no control. It’s good for us to make plans and it’s good for us to be engaged in trying to solve problems. But we need to realize that worrying about things solves nothing. The number one fact of the universe is that God is God and we’re not. So, make your plans and when the time comes, willingly move on to Plan B.

So, worrying is a bad thing. But what’s it got to do with "DAILY BREAD" or “Give us this day our daily bread”? Just this: No matter how facile you may be at multitasking, there are two things that are very difficult to do simultaneously. Though you may be able to do them both at the same time for awhile--maybe decades--eventually, one will win out over the other and become the prevailing habit of your life. You can’t keep worrying and be thankful to God at the same time.

The opposite of faith, as I say, isn’t unbelief. The opposite of faith is worry.

May we live in the assurance that God provides our daily bread and so, free from worry, glorify the God Who gives us everything! May thankfulness supplant fear. When we do worry, may God help us remember all His blessings. And may we, instead of worrying about tomorrow, learn to be thankful for God’s provision today. May we learn to pray, “Give us this day our daily bread” and remember that every good and perfect gift we enjoy comes from the loving hand of God. Amen

As I look out my kitchen window, I see this wooden fence. I have been noticing the changes in the color of the wood. As I look at it daily, I think the change is because of the watering system and how it hits the fence through the shrub that it in front of it. It also gets water from the other side with another watering system. It was not as easy as I thought to capture the shot because of the shadow on the lower right. After uploading to the computer, I noticed the contrast in the shadow and the grass and shrubs on the other side of the fence showing through the crack. If I cropped it wouldn't show as much detail in the wood. I've been watching for the right time of day and this seemed to be the best with less shadows in the way.

Cooch's Bridge is a mile down the road from this field, where, I believe the battle ended.

We lost this battle. The main objective was for the U.S. troops to hold the British advancement from moving north as long as possible to allow General Washington to position himself in Brandywine, But I'm not 100% sure.

The front of Loram rail grinder 405 is trailing on this westbound move. They weren't grinding during this move but in "transport" mode. This grinder has been working on the CN routes around Wisconsin. Since the Minneapolis Sub is essentially a long branch the grinder "backed" all the way to Withrow then swapped directions and ground the rails back to Owen.

At the time I took these I didn't know if they were heading back to the home base at Medina, MN or positioning to take a grinding pass. When they came back I wasn't ready for photos but watched them grind their way through. February 21, 2022.

So been seeing a lot of daily bugle stuff and even tho I don't own the set I wanted to make some figs that were present on the sticker sheet from set 76178 using my own parts and imagination. The basis of this post was inspired by myself in which after I did some modding to my . kingpin I felt more obligated to make this and fjj_customs from IG.

L-R: Morbius, electro, kingpin, Norman Osborn( ik tie is more preferable but wanted to try out a coat look, scarlet spider( sadly couldn't find the official torso so I had to make him purist)

Top: Foggy Nelson( I seriously wish I had the hair was in a diff shade but I don't sadly), matt murdock( still improving), curt connors, Miles Warren( he is better known as the Jackal and so I made him instead rather than the human version bc I didn't have the right parts)
