The enjoyment of food under the branches of spruce tree.

On the highway in Kashmir Himalayas, India

The squirrel visitors to my little patio garden are such fun to watch and can keep me amused for ages. They tend to pinch the bird seed - usually the peanuts of course, and then sit atop the fence to enjoy. Because they are such a common sight it can be difficult to capture a shot that isn't simply ho-hum, so I try at least to be a bit more artistic composition-wise. I hope that is the case here!

Tradescantia is a genus of 75 species of herbaceous perennial wildflowers in the family Commelinaceae, native to the New World from southern Canada to northern Argentina, including the West Indies. Members of the genus are known by the common names Spiderwort or Indian Paint. They were introduced into Europe as ornamental plants in the 17th century and are now grown as such in many parts of the world. Subsequently, some species have become naturalized in various regions of Europe, Asia, Africa, and Australia, as well as on some oceanic islands.

For years this was a local hi-fi shop but since that time it has been empty.

Out for the daily walk to get a breather I pass this weathered warning on a metal grate. This past week I took a shot of it each time. Today the lighting made it stand out a bit more.

Without deep reflection one knows from daily life that one exists for other people.
