This is a fairly tight crop, and yes, I know the sky is chaotic. I guess that's what happens when you leave the shutter open for 104 seconds. Next time I'd like to shoot this again but frame it this way to get better resolution on the castle.

A modular skyscraper that is the home of “The Daily Stud”, which delivers the latest news through the city!
This is by far my biggest build and it was also the most challenging one. It also took extremely long from the first digital design to the final build, since I was unable to move a stud for almost 2 years, due to building a real house. ;-) Most of the design was actually finished almost 3 years ago, so quite a bit before LEGO released the Daily Bugle. When that happened I lost the motivation to really finish it, but I finally re-visited it some months ago to finally finish it.
The skyscraper has 8 floors, which are fully furnished. It sits on two standard baseplates, is 107cm high and weighs about 16,2kg. The build contains 22.801 pieces and consists of 9 modules. It can be easily integrated into existing city layouts following the modular standard.

Nice to see this family workhorse parked up at Alexandra Palace doing a quick drop off before it pootled of smelling distinctly of petrol. Love these old things, especially in GLT form with those alloys and (hopefully) comfy leather heated seats.
FedEx headquarters is in Memphis, Tennessee. When close to the airport you see many of these planes taking off and landing.

In the daily grind, processes and structures frequently look alike. Though it often seems different, they aren't present right from the start. Quite the contrary applies because the majority slowly creeps into everyday life over time. Eventually, they leave us with the feeling as if there has never been anything else.
Therefore it is simple to quickly get used to the same routines, people, places, and events that provoke the same behavior, reactions, and perceptions. As they find themselves a comfortable place in the daily grind, they make us believe that there is no alternative.
It is tempting to follow the routine's call to stay at a standstill because it promises reliability. However, this behavior also makes it impossible to leave the comfort zone and discover which viewpoints exist outside the monotonic daily grind.
