More experiments with water droplets.

Both sets of inner and outer fork tubes hanging to shed the last of their oil overnight before I degrease and clean up the outsides and give a good balled-up-aluminum-foil scrub of the inner tubes to remove the surface rust from the chrome.

Once again we had a very busy and full day and no opportunities for photo taking, so I got my daily fix by shooting off a few water drop shots back at the room... boring I know :)

Water dripped onto this sun-baked clay brick, slowly drilling a hole in it. The spattering was captured on the accompanying piece of paper which encircled the brick before being dried and mounted.

Day 155. Playing with the macro telephoto. My first time trying water droplets so be nice! I put a layer of tinfoil behind and shut off the lights using only the speedlight and my cellphone to reflect off the background.

Hard to believe this was taken only an hour prior to the snow laden pics that follow. This bridge over the Forth runs parallel to the main Stirling - Doune road and was built in 1773 by public subscription
