A little drippy texture for your Photoshopping pleasure -- this a very "stretched" image of water stains on the side of a bridge. I've got another image of the same drips, but with them running along the long axis of the image here.

APAD 10th March, 2010.
Leaf is not a sound native to water, but it is a prominent feature in this photo.. I tried to capture the amazing shapes that nature thinks up of when creating its magic and the added form that water tends to add to it. :)
Well were are getting to the last of my villages folder, so not too many more images to post from my trip to France. These are all pretty much photographers photo's (the general public exchange puzzled looks and give you a wide birth).
This time I was trying with some pictures in the background.

Always looking for something new to play with, I came across this site that explained how to photogragh water droplets. (Well at least it explained how to get started and play around.) The site is strobist.blogspot.com/2009/05/how-to-photograph-water-dro....
You need an off camera flash with remote. As instructed, I used my 580 speedlite with remote, in manual mode set at 1/16th, and the camera on 1/200th with an apeture of f8.
The blue water is done using a white background and white balance set to tungsten and the red water is done using a red background. Can't wait to try some more.
This one came out of a search for spheres for cwd202, the first image being a dripping tap, taken in close-up with flash. The second image was just there, a combination of the way the flash reflected off the water and a bubble-less area caused by the drips. I couldn't get over how much it looked like a dog, freaky or what?
I lightened the first image in photoshop elements with just one pass of the 'colour-variations' filter, the second image is un-touched.
I dusted off my macro lens and decided to have a little practise after a rainy morning. I have so much to learn about macro but really enjoy the end result. even if it is not perfect.
