A constant drip of water drops has cut a hole in this rock at Ash Cave

Ash Cave, Hocking Hills State Park, Ohio.

Drop. I loathe the quality of this. >:/

Didn't quite work the way I wanted...

One of a series of drips shot with Canon 100mm macro lens.

Drip from a medicine syringe into a plastic bowl of water.

Setup: Canon 1000D, 50mm f1.8, YN460 Speedlight shot bare against wall.

Using flashguns is forcing me to use manual, which I like, because usually I'm too lazy. The focus on this is exactly where I wanted it. I used live view to set the focus.

Post edit: Lightroom to get rid of some of the noise, and adding a slight contrast as well as lens correction.

The stylish and innovative coffee dripper, it can improve the flavor of coffee.

IKEA curtain printed drippy. I cut the stencil into a roll of mylar and then used a tempoary adhesive spray to stick it on, then stencil rolled all over the durn thing. It turns out the curtain fabric is really, uh, porous? Low thread count or something, large holes. I had to apply paint twice.

Dripping on Union Lane

My love is dripping out and I'm hoping you'll slip into me.

My son,Steven, made a drip pan for my Singer cabinet, It was amazing to see him make one just from looking at the original drip pan in my other old cabinet.

Finally caught that drip mid-air. I'll leave the punch lines to your imagination.

I am obsessed with icicles. I love them! I think they make me feel like I'm in some sweet Alpine village with skiiers and hot chocolate.

Working on the best drip castle ever, at Topsail.

Conservatory of Flowers, Golden Gate Park, San Francisco.

Last time I did this I got a pretty good shot - today, not so much! Picked the wrong day really, at home with a lively toddler and grumpy, teething baby.

And I'd left the ISO at 400 which didn't help!

Ah well. I like the colours and shapes, just a shame about the noise and lack of accurate focus!

Marginally better on black
