Still experimenting with my new toy...

A grey morning and I was looking for drips - the only ones I could find were hanging on the rotational dryer.

Reese's peanut butter cup drip cake

50th birthday chocolate drip cake, coated with white chocolate ganache and a glossy dark chocolate ganche 'drip' and topped with the recipient's favourite chocolates - Toblerone, Maltesers and Daim.

At the end of a busy week I thought I'd unwind and have a go at some water drip photography with the D5000...

More focus stacking, this time I set the exposure to include the background. About 14 images stacked here as well I think.

the orig picture had a clear drip on bright sky and was very hard to make out. levels contrast or any of the common fixes couldn't pick it up well either, but since it happened to be my first successful drip shot I had to post it. I used an iridescent filter in photoshop with vivid light and it made the drip distinguishable.

just got back from a lovely few days in northumberland, and yes I know there is some wonderful scenery....there are also some great boatyards and rust !!

This is the back of one of the bureaus in the bunkroom in the annex. There are 3 bureaus and a desk-cum-bedside-table. We found them all at the dump and we painted them all pretty colors. This one was green, and is now robin's egg blue!
