In the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), one of the world’s poorest countries, only 1% of the population has access to a bank account. UNCDF’s MicroLeadProgramme is helping Opportunity International bring safe and affordable access to financial services in DRC. Opportunity International Trust Group members meet weekly to repay their loans and receive training in financial literacy from their loan officer. As a group, these women have pledged to guarantee each other’s loans and support one another’s businesses. Because collateral is not necessary, credit becomes available to those previously locked out of formal financial services.

Sesión Fotográfica de la llanta DRC Dimetric21-29" en La Ruta de los Pinos junto al pantano de Puente Nuevo en la localidad de Villaviciosa de Córdoba. Precioso entorno natural (reforestado) con varias rutas de senderos enlazados y señalizados con impresionantes vistas. Durante la sesión volaron sobre mi cabeza aves como: Buitre Leonado, Cuervo, e incluso una pareja de Buitre Negro, y un grupo de JabalÃes me sorprendió saliendo del matorral unos metros debajo mÃa. La sesión resultó complicada por el fuerte viento, que hizo ardua la tarea de dejar quietas las llantas.
