some times my camera does crazy things with me , probably a problem of a absolut beginner like me:-)
I found this little spider hanging upside-down waiting for prey. Amazing that they can hold this position for so long! I can't ;-))
Enjoy your day ;-))
I like to capture the same scene in different seasons. I'm not sure if I've ever posted this before or not but this definitely screams Winter, right?

Mile marker 203, the gas gauge leanin' on the edge of "E",
An' I'll be dang'd if the rain ain't pourin' down.
There's somethin' smokin' underneath the hood,
It's a-bangin' and a-clangin' an' it can't be good,
An' it's another fifty miles to the nearest town.
Everythin' I own's in the back in a hefty bag;
I'm outta cigarettes an' I'm down to my last drag.
I'd sure hate to break down here,
Nothin' up ahead or in the rear view mirror.
Out in the middle of nowhere, knowin'.
I'm in trouble if these wheels stop rollin'.
So, God help me, keep me movin' somehow.
Don't let me start wishin' I was with him now.
I made it this far without cryin' a single tear.
I'd sure hate to break down here.

NEDER BETUWE, river De Waal - Ship the Calcit 11, 109,96 x 11,45 x 3,63 (3257 ton), built in 2008, Werf Brodogradiliste in Apatin (Serbia) en Bodewes in Millingen a/d Rijn (Nederland), 1836 pk Caterpillar en 608 pk Caterpillar – van Tiem boegschroef, ex Vertigo, owner Vof. Kralingen (T. van der Meer) in Rotterdam
Down near Burlington Iowa on the mighty Mississippi River a barge move down and under the railway lift. Once the barge goes by - they lower the track section back down so trains can cross the river.
I will post a close up this bridge this week.
Isaiah 21:9 “And behold, here cometh a chariot of men with two horsemen. ‘And he answered and said, "Babylon is fallen, is fallen! She is turned upside down, and all the images of her gods are smitten to the ground!’”
Revelation 18:2 “And he called out with a mighty voice, ‘Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great! She has become a dwelling place for demons, a haunt for every unclean spirit, a haunt for every unclean bird, a haunt for every unclean and detestable beast.’”
So shall America fall.
Eorope, The Netherlands, Zuid Holland, Rotterdam, Museumpark, Depot (Boijmans van Beuningen), Art, People
I dare say that a radical building like the Depot only could have been designed by Rotterdam based architecs MVRDV.
It is basically a giant glass clad reinforced concrete bowl that is the depot of the Boijmans van Beuningen museum (which is currently closed due to a renovation). The inside structure of the building is a metal skeleton and many of the walls, ceilings and even some floors are made of laminated glass,
One of the unique selling points of the edifice is the vast roof terrace with its expansive Rottterdam views. Its entrance hall is situated next to the restaurant. In winter blankets/plaids are offered there.
This capture is shot down the atrium and is number 11 of the Museum Boijmans van Beuningen album.

A wonderful Coigach morning waiting for a sunrise, with freezing feet from walking through unseen peat bogs in the dark frozen morning. I was annoyed by the contrails, but as there was so little cloud, they helped. Simmer down , by Bob Marley, is probably good advice for me!
A roll down gate in front of an automotive shop on Flatbush Avenue in Brooklyn.Behind the gate is where all the dirty work is done. The same business has a car wash next door. The photo was taken on a Sunday,in case you were confused with the signs on the windows.
'Stare Down'
The fox stares her amber glare,
Over a vulpine grin,
Wary ears twitching for sound.
Lavish fur
Scorns winter’s worst and
Proclaims prowess over prey.
Nose aquiver with the tang
Of the next mouse.
She sits briefly then
Fast feet fly,
White tipped tail flashes
The vixen!
Delicate paw prints,
Mark her interlude
In the undergrowth.

My back yard ... she has become a regular visitor. I have a composition and pose in mind but she is frustratingly uncooperative ... her modelling career is in jeopardy if she doesn't follow the photographer's directions more enthusiastically. :)
It was early morning and not a lot of light to work with, hence, the high ISO and the 'noise' that goes along with it.
