Italian Railway's main passenger diesel loco, the class D445 which were spread right over the country to work both express and regional services. One route that was a regular working was that from Novara to Domodossola in the north part of the country offering approximately 2 hours in front or behind these locos. D445.1060 is seen before departing on train R10389, 15:55 Domodossola to Novara on 15 November 1996.

Di tutte le cappelle questa è forse quella che si impone per la eleganza del disegno, semplice e di effetto insieme. È un perfetto ottagono coperto da una cupola e circondato da un portico sostenuto da pilastri. Per raggiungere il piano della cappella si devono salire sei gradini. Fu iniziata a spese della Confraternita del SS. Sacramento di Domo e la prima pietra fu posta il 24 Aprile 1664. Fu condotta a termine nel 1666.
Il gruppo di 22 statue e due cavalli che rappresenta il Mistero della terza caduta di Gesù sotto la croce è opera dello scultore e plasticatore milanese Giuseppe Rusnati e fu posto in opera nel 1708.
Nel 1710 il pittore Tarquinio Grassi di Romagnano dipinse le statue ed affrescò l’intera cappella.
Of all the chapels this is perhaps the one which is most impressive by reason of its elegant style, which is both simple and effective. It is a perfect octagon covered by a cupola and surrounded by a portico supported by pillars. One must walk up six steps to reach the floor of the chapel. It was begun at the expense of the Confraternity of the Most Blessed Sacrament and the foundation stone was laid on the 24th April 1664. It was completed in 1666.
The group of 22 statues and two horses which represent the scene of the third fall of Jesus under the Cross is the work of the Milanese sculptor and modeller Giuseppe Rusnati, and was begun in 1708.
In 1710 the painter Tarquinio Grassi of Romagnano painted the statues and frescoed the entire chapel.
Il locomotore diesel D 445.1108 transita a bassa velocità alla stazione di Premosello-Chiovenda il 23.08.2016 trainando il locomotore da manovra 245.2284 (in pessime condizioni estetiche!).
Destijds was de Centovallilijn in Domodossola nog boven de grond. Nu ligt het eindpunt onder het huidige station en kom je er met een trap via het perron. Ik was er in 2016 voor het eerst weer in 42 jaar.

Domodossola is the terminus station on the railway line Milano-Domodossola and Novara-Domodossola, Piemonte (Italy). The trains carry on in Switzerland with railway Domodossola-Briga.
Today the station is open and fully operational.

In early 2017 the Milan Smistamento to Metz Sablon, France [MISI-MESA] intermodal was booked for a pair of BLS Cargo Class 425 'Brownies' for the journey via the Lötschbergbahn between Domodossola and Basel Muttenz Yards. When recorded approaching Wichtrach only a single locomotive, 178 'Schwarzenburg' was at the business end of Freight 41508. The train comprised in the main GTS, LKW Walter, Unit 45 and Geodis containers.
