Missabe 212 and CN 5485 repose at the diesel shop in Proctor MN. Neat to still see standard cab EMD's and GE's on the property.
Having seen better days, we find a pair of D&M cabooses at rest in the yard at Tawas Michigan. Photo was taken in August of 1985.

Climbing Proctor Hill with a loaded limestone train. 223 was one of a handful of secondhand SD38's the DM&IR acquired from sister roads EJ&E and B&LE.
Fleetlines were on the way out in May 1984. DM2558 had reached the giddying old age of 6 years!

There were some truly horrible buses built in the 1970's (I'm looking at you Leyland National, Bristol LH and Atlantean AN68) but for sheer lame naff-ness the DMS/DM gets a special prize. I think the designer of the bodywork drew round a cigarette packet and said 'that will do'. Just punch some holes in it for doors and windows....
I suppose they weren't TOO bad to ride on. They were just so bloody depressing!
The Japanese Red Maple is always this colour throughout the summer season however every time I see one it gives me a gentle reminder of the Fall Season to come.
人造人 Homunculus
何蒙庫魯茲（Homunculus）意指歐洲傳統的鍊金術師所創造出的人工生命，也意指創造人工生命這項工作本身。古代鍊金術除了在物理性質上的追尋，更重要的是來自於對內在心靈的修鍊。
人物題材在藝術史上一直佔有重要地位，肖像畫在過去是王宮貴族的專屬權力，隨著攝影的發明，網路的發達，各式各樣的人物影像（又以家庭式影像為大宗）充滿了網路相簿，這類的影像又如何反過來影響著現在的繪畫？尤其是以繪畫人物為主的藝術家，他們使用自己的方式去捕捉關於“人“這個概念。 在這次人造人展出中，藝術家們利用單純的礦物顏料，宛如鍊金術師，在空白的畫布上低語呢喃著古老的咒語，施灑著召喚的色彩。

I have a pair of old Doc Marten's that have travelled all over the place with me. They started off purple but pink now peeps through. They could tell some great stories!!!! I thought I would make them in cake form. It is entirely edible.
In de middag van 15 mei 2015 zijn de DM'90 treinstellen de 3449 en de 3440 zojuist uit Kampen vertrokken en rijden langs de laad en losplaats van deze plaats, die helaas alweer heel wat jaren niet meer wordt gebruikt. Op de achtergrond zijn moeder en dochter bezig met een fotoreportage en de trein rijdt gewoon door, geen stress en paniek en bovenal geen hekken, het leven langs het spoor is hier nog heel ontspannen,zoals het ook moet zijn.
