Omdat er nu weer actualiteit met DM transporten zijn maar een foto uit het archief gehaald. De NS DE-3 136 is als trein 6293 van Nijmegen naar Roermond onder komt de aller eerste NS DM 90 3401 tegen die van Krefeld naar Zwolle onderweg is
in Meerlo Tienraij op 12-3-1996.

De NS DM 90 stel 3423 van Zutphen naar Oldenzaal als trein 7229 bij Groot Dochteren op14-9-2003.
In December dat jaar ging Syntus deze dienst rijden.

Michael had a night out on the very limited night services that ran in those days. It seems that evening, before moving on to the 'N' routes, he found an unscheduled DM out on route 53. At that time it would have been substituting for an MD class Metropolitan. Either way it would have been crew-operated. Location is probably Camden Town.
I was about 20 when Depeche Mode came into my life. It's the band that has stayed with me to this day and provided my soundtrack for the past 40-plus years. Of course, many other bands and artists play an important role in my life, but Depeche Mode is a constant. The live recording of their 2023 concerts in Mexico City -the Memento Mori tour- was recently released. My body keeps giving me goosebumps listening to it. I always find that a wonderful phenomenon and I like it. I'm already very much looking forward to their next tour.
