Freightliner Class 66/9 No. 66556 passes through the shed at Frome station on the rear of 6Y15, the 16:00 Fairwater Yard – Slough West engineers working on 22nd September 2021. Class 66 No. 66951 was leading the train and it is worth pointing out that non-passenger trains are extremely rare on the Frome station loop.

Mini-Wassermelonen
Mini watermelons
Discovered at a local farmers' market:
Red and yellow mini watermelons. These measure just 2,8 inches in diameter, about the size of a tennis ball, and grew in a local field in Styria (south-eastern Austria).
The seeds are the same size as those of the well-known, large variety and the taste is also the same.

Rising high above the City of London, 20 Fenchurch Street stands tall and proud, its unique shape earning it the affectionate nickname 'Walkie Talkie.' Designed by visionary architect Rafael Viñoly, this towering masterpiece boasts 36 floors and stands at an impressive height of 155 meters. It's home to one of London's most stunning attractions: the Sky Garden - City of London, London, England, UK
One of the most iconic places in the Dolomites is without doubt the Drei Zinnen/Tre Cime massive.
You can make a trip around this wonderful massive, but be prepared to do it with lots of other enthusiasts who want to do the same. Even in October it was extremely busy, so in summer it must be a tourist highway with some traffic jams.
But also it is easy to evade this when coming up to this point you can walk down a little further to discover more (and even better) wonderful scenery, that I will show later.
This shot BTW took me a lot of time to find, and also in post-processing it was a difficult one. I wanted to show the dimensions of the peaks, but very close there was a strong backlight so I couldn't find a decent angle. At the top the backlight too was very prominent, it was difficult to get some contrast on the one hand, and on the other to get some light on the peaks that were at most places in a lot of shade.
By stitching 6 shots in front of the hotel and church, I could show a little bit how impressive they are, and when you look at the middle peak there are two black dots, that you might think these are birds, but in fact they are small airplanes.

On our recent trip, we took in the evening over Discovery River with the forbidden mountain in the distance and the River of Lights glowing.....then we made a dash to Pandora for last ride of the night.

We paid a winter visit to Cotehele in the far east of Cornwall almost a year ago and were blessed with some excellent weather.
This Grade II*-listed Chapel of St George & St Thomas A'Becket, dating from around 1490, was built by Sir Richard Edgcumbe in memory of his escape on this spot from Sir Henry Trenowth of Bodrugan in 1483. The chapel is situated overlooking the River Tamar a couple of hundred yards below Cotehele House, which was the Edgcumbe family's home. This is part of the National Trust's Cotehele Estate.
Sir Richard Edgcumbe was a Lancastrian and had his lands confiscated in 1471 by the Yorkist Edward IV, although these were returned to him the next year. Angered by Richard of Gloucester’s usurpation of the throne in 1483 and the rumours of the murder of Edward V and his brother in the Tower of London, Edgcumbe joined the rebellion led by Henry Stafford, 2nd Duke of Buckingham to dethrone the Yorkist Richard III and replace him with the Lancastrian Henry Tudor.
When the rebellion collapsed and Henry’s ships fled, Edgcumbe’s arrest was ordered and a troop of soldiers commanded by the notoriously brutal Sir Henry Trenowth of Bodrugan were sent to arrest him. He hid himself on the wooded hillside of his Tamarside home, Cotehele, and when his hiding-place was discovered, threw his pursuers off the scent by filling his cap with stones and throwing it into the river, fooling his pursuers into thinking he had drowned and thus escaping certain death.
After his escape he fled to Brittany and joined Henry Tudor with whom he returned to England in 1485. He was knighted later that year after the Battle of Bosworth, where Henry Tudor (who became King Henry VII) and the Lancastrians were victorious.

Opulence Discovered
Today we will take a look at a very large mansion worth about $11 million!! It was last listed in 2014 for $7.4 million and the listing was removed only a few short months later!! The home which sat on more than an acre of land in a very prestigious neighbourhood was bought a number of years ago for an undisclosed amount of money. It was demolished in 2018 and last I checked the new even larger house that is replacing it is still under construction!
With over 6000 square feet of living space this home was extremely large. No expense was spared when it came to the finishings and the design. The home had a stone exterior with 4 concrete porches, Scarlet O'Hara grand staircase, marble tile flooring in the the foyer and hallways, lots of hardwood throughout and high ceilings on all levels!!
I was not terribly excited by this home when I visited but looking back on this explore, it was a real gem and I'm glad I was able to see it. My only regret is that it was a short visit and I only have a few photos to show you from this large mansion!!
I do not have a video from this explore but if you like you can take a look at my most recent post from this other $5 million dollar retro mansion!!

Made it into Level Event, after two days of trying...WHEW! Grabbed the Fatpack of this dress by Astralia, and it is WORTH it. Multiple colors, textures, two different cutouts, and a sparkly effect layer! Pics do NOT do this justice, you need to demo to see it. And then good luck trying to pick just one...bwahahahaha!

The brilliant tapestry of young stars flaring to life resemble a glittering fireworks display in the 25th anniversary NASA Hubble Space Telescope image, released to commemorate a quarter century of exploring the solar system and beyond since its launch on April 24, 1990.
“Hubble has completely transformed our view of the universe, revealing the true beauty and richness of the cosmos” said John Grunsfeld, astronaut and associate administrator of NASA’s Science Mission Directorate. “This vista of starry fireworks and glowing gas is a fitting image for our celebration of 25 years of amazing Hubble science.”
The sparkling centerpiece of Hubble’s anniversary fireworks is a giant cluster of about 3,000 stars called Westerlund 2, named for Swedish astronomer Bengt Westerlund who discovered the grouping in the 1960s. The cluster resides in a raucous stellar breeding ground known as Gum 29, located 20,000 light-years away from Earth in the constellation Carina.
