Is it just a coincidence & dirt road & Dave both start with the letter D?
The dirt roads have been extremely dusty lately.
The water trucks finally showed up.

We were heading to Pocatello on the paved road. We even washed the SUV. It wasn't supposed to be a dirt road day. About halfway there we got a phone call cancelling our plans.
Already on the road we changed plans for a dirt road adventure.
On the way back home on the paved rd Lynette sees a road off in the distance we hadn't been on for quite some time.
Soon back on a dirt road headed for Grace ID. The drive seemed longer than we had remembered. Eventually we could see Gem Valley below. When we almost to the valley floor we see another old house. Then we realized we were not where we thought we were coming out at. The house looked very familiar.
We then realize we were at Beaver Dam( Thatcher Id ) We had just been there last week.

first shoot I've done where I've covered myself in dirt! Truly loved it and felt very connected to nature!
Feeling very inspired lately to do more eccentric shoots- using big props and costumes as well as professional models- this goal is coming true this week :D
I have heard the streets of Heaven are paved with gold.
I am sure Heaven has lots of dirt roads as well. I think its

Loaded skip at the spoil chutes of the Oskova coal washery. This was a long ropeway running over wooded ridges to the dirt tips.
This is a reprocessing of an image posted many years ago.
The PRR heritage unit (NS 8102) came into Montreal on run-through train CN 529 (aka CP 931/NS 31T) and was in use on Montreal-area transfer CN 527 for the third day in a row today. Here it leads CN 527 (with CN 2225 trailing) as it prepares to leave Southwark Yard with 76 cars for Taschereau Yard, foregoing its usual work at Pointe St-Charles Yard. Someone has etched 'test dirt' in the grime on the fuel tank!
I love shooting dirt road when they lead to a view like this.
Mt McDougal is the prominent peak in the part of the Wyoming Range
The island prides itself on selling -tshirts that say "PEI Dirt" and they have a red mud stain to them. They do have a lot of the red mud especially when the tide is out.
I think I need a new camera. All the shots I took at this place have weird noise in them. the noise kind of looks like rectangular shapes and it's all of over the images in a kind of pattern. Seems to be a electronic problem of some sort :( I tried my hardest to get rid of most of it but it leaves the images looking a little strange. I suppose you can't really notice if you just take a quick look at them. Sigh ....
A quartet of Rio Grande tunnel motors have the dirt train in tow as they head for the mainline at Mounds. It was always a treat to catch this train as it was a holdout for Rio Grande to the very end.
Dirt and Debris
Ash fall with deaths wait
A battle occurs with men with no soul
War wages with men and women who know nothing of what war really means
A battle that know body wants but a battle that everyone takes part of
Only the empty body's of once men have found out truly what war is.

A horse carriage on the dirt road in New England. Galloping horses and the cowboy give a bit of western feeling to this American countryside
