The glossy black and yellow of the legs, feet and bill of the snowy egret always looks like they were dipped in paint. Beautiful, unusual and gets them noticed.

I loved the little square containers of dips - from left to right: green olive tapenade, fresh tomato dip, black olive tapenade, pesto.

Dip in Tala-Cauvery. TalaCauvery is the place where the mighty river Cauvery originates.

I took this in b&w with my digital camera in preparation for taking SLR b&w exposure bracketing shots for my class.

Hummus + tomatoes + cucumbers + kalamata olives + feta cheese + parsley, easy peasy.

I didn't like olives until a few years ago and now I think they are mostly okay... not all of them though.
