I drive by this outcrop every day.
This is known as the Ottawa Formation. These are Ordovician aged rocks. These beds were layed down between 488 and 433 million years ago.
This little army of Dip Cups is on it's way to one of my favorite retailers, Haus Interior in SoHo. It's always exciting to see a big group all together.
When the first Farnell order arrived with the Flash chip in SMT instead of DIP package (bottom left) things were going to be tricky. Now it looks like a clumsy great big monster of a microchip, compared to the other two tiny surface mounts.
