Dipped candles for sale at the Grabill General Store, in Indiana.
This is the same store where I shot "The Sweetest Bokeh" photo. Downstairs is the candy store. But upstairs is a photographers delight. The upstairs area has many country store items on display, such as old blankets, furniture, candles, wood carvings, etc. A fast lens and a shallow depth of field is all you would need there.
It smelled incredible up there too.
Taken with a Minolta X-700, 50mm F1.7lens, Fuji Provia 400X.
Main colour is TFA Green Label in Shadow, yoke is done in TFA Blue Label in Midnight, Deep Sea, Peacock, Seabreeze, Spearmint, Lemongrass and Buttercup.
LOVE it.
It was lovely and warm in town, so I dipped my toes in the lake. Not as shockingly cold as I expected
I bought a dip pen set at La Pedrera in Barcelona last year and I'd only used it once before. It has four different tips. Two of them I can't stand. The other two have potential.
I think I just like the act of dipping the pen in the inkwell. It's so romantic.

At Lidia's, they serve their bread and grissini with two types of bean dips:
Garbonzo beans with basil pesto (green).
Canellini beans with black olive and garlic (reddish brown).
Notes: Always love the been dip here - much more flavorful, healthful, and engaging than regular old butter. For a nice Italian restaurant, the bread here never des anything for me - the foccacia was stale tonight. The grissini, however, is always a treat - I like crunch flatbreads.

I had TONS of this dip left over from a work function. So I made these mini-hamburgers for my son and his friends. Use two mini wafers, put the dip in the middle, and, voila, candy hamburgers! ;)
