Leaders and Soldiers from the 10th Mountain Division (LI) Sustainment Brigade celebrated Thanksgiving with a traditional meal at the Muleskinner Dining Facility on Fort Drum, New York Nov. 24,2020.

 

As part of Army tradition, unit command teams manned the serving lines to show their gratitude for their Soldiers.

 

A special thanks to the Soldiers of the 593rd Quartermaster Company who worked tirelessly to prepare this year's meal.

82nd Sustainment Brigade senior enlisted advisor, Command Sgt. Maj. Edward Bell, a Tarboro, N.C., native, serves up side dishes to a patron at the LSA Bragg East dining facility Nov. 20. Culinary specialist across the 10th Mountain Division (LI) cooked up a Thanksgiving feast to thousands of Fort Drum Soldiers and family members Nov. 26 at the four specially-decorated dining facilities on post. The culinary teams worked overnight to cook, bake and decorate and some of the work was labored on for days ahead of time. As they do for many holidays, LOGCAP performance contractors turned the dining facilities into festive areas with plenty of spring decorations and special treats.

PRESIDIO OF MONTEREY, Calif. -- More than 900 members of the Presidio of Monterey military community gathered for a traditional holiday meal at Presidio of Monterey's Belas and Combs dining facilities Nov. 26. The facilities serve students at the Defense Language Institute's Foreign Language Center, many of whom are new servicemembers who are spending their first Thanksgiving away from home. The DFACs also serves military families who are away from their own extended families during the holiday, and staff members -- some of whom are just being introduced to the American holiday and its traditions.
