Met gestreken stroomafnemers vanwege het spanningsverschil arriveert DB-loc 140 347-6 in Venlo met trein 41142. Deze trein vertrok op zondagochtend uit Basel met bestemming Kijfhoek. De aankomst in Venlo was op zondagavond. In de samenstelling van de trein zijn een groot aantal NS-schuifwandwagens (Hbis) te zien. Deze zijn afkomstig uit Desio (Italië) en werden ingezet in het zoutvervoer van de AKZO.

Bij de DB zijn deze treinstellen al een hele tijd in dienst en het einde begint te naderen. Hier in Beieren zijn er nog genoeg aan te treffen in de dagelijkse diensten. Op de foto is een treinstel onderweg bij Ebersdorf richting Wasserburg (Inn)

DB operates "Bin liners" under 6E26 Knowsley Freight Terminal to Wilton EFW Terminal (pictured above) and 6E16 empty back to Knowsley. These trains take containerised waste to the North East. These blue boxes can also be seen behind freightliner 66s, with Acton Bridge also getting this traffic.

DB Schenker Class 59 59202 "Alan Meadows Taylor MD Mendip Rail Ltd" trundles through Barnt Green with the 08:38 1Z58 Banbury to Merehead Quarry "The Fifty Niner". A Class 59 is not something you see everyday in Birmingham or the surrounding area.
