Using my disk cutter and a dapping tool, I first created the hoops from a copper sheet. After that, I applied numerous layers and different colors of enamel to get the desired result. These are very cool!

This necklace started out as an exercise in dapping. I took a piece of scrap brass and repeatedly heated, quenched, and dapped it into an almost perfect sphere. I left the cracked looking edges because I thought it kind of looked like an ancient remnant of a dinosaur egg.

My dapping block is one of my favorite toys :)

I love my dapping block!

The center "stone" is a sheet of red brass, dapped, sanded, and heated. The base is a thick sheet of fine silver I made by melting leftover PMC and then putting it through a rolling mill. The band is sterling silver.

It wasn't my intention to make it look like an old globe, but I'm glad it does! You can't tell in the pictures too well, but the heat patina really looks like terrain.

Catching up, but still a bit behind. I made these rings a few weeks ago, but I really didn't like them, so I left them sitting on my bench. Today I decided to finish them. After a pickle bath, a tumble, and some patina, I really like them!

Each band has a different texture hammered on them. One has a 6mm garnet. One has a melted ball of copper. And one has a melted and dapped disk of fine silver. The bands are all sterling silver.

It's not often that I get to combine ‪#DapperLady‬ and ‪#‎streetdancerproject‬, but Sasha was game when I was in Rochester earlier this summer. ‪#‎dapperdancer‬
