A "quick build". Took me about 5 hours to build in 4 days. I planned to add more detail to the helmet and the visor was supposed to be black but I ran out of pieces, as usual. The photo's not great either, but I really didn't care to take a good photo.
What's your favorite song by Daft Punk?
Here are the Daft Punk helmets used in the cover of my Lego Random Access Memories cover: www.flickr.com/photos/kingmarshy/8913870575/
While I was editing this photo I was listening to Daft Punk's "Something About Us" and realized that this chick's expression kind of matched the song. Looks like the chick is totally giving a "Hey, how you doin'?" expression.
Up in the hills above the famed erstwhile bleakly located 'Mermaid Inn', we pulled over in the driving rain for those brave or daft enough to take photos. Here, with Staffordshire doing a reasonable impression of Dartmoor the little Reliance takes a breather in scenery similar to that which it perhaps encountered many years ago.
The lake in the background is Tittesworth Reservoir. The next major setlement in the direction the bus is pointing is Buxton, about 10 miles away.
Daft Punk, Reykjavik 2006. They didn't want their faces photographed so I covered their heads with aluminum foil.
Awwwwwwwwwwwwwww Yeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh :3
Notes:
I know they're not perfect, call this an interpretation.
I know they're messy/not very good, but anyways.
Comment if you favorite. Also, I may do more things like this in the future.
Oh, and now I know why decals were invented.
If I added you, it's because I heard you like Daft Punk.
Also, there are two "zippers" on the left arms, they just aren't visible.
You know in that scene of High Fidelity where Rob Gordon organizes his record collection autobiographically? Well, I guess you could say that in terms of my own life, Daft Punk came right after LCD Soundsystem. This is one half of the top of the pyramid and shows some detail in the robot suits though I think the entire spectacle is probably a little more impressive visually:

"With Christmas decorations back in the loft, Brits are embracing this new Easter trend with gusto. According to John Lewis & Partners, more customers than ever before are decorating their homes for the seasonal celebrations, in the same spirit as they do Christmas."
I couldn't think of a better way to end the year and the project with Daft Punk. Someday I would love to get them in front of my camera in RL but the toys are a good substitute:)
Farewell "Those Wonderful Toys"
As drawn for the Hype Machine's 2010 zeitgeist. They were nice enough to give me the only band I wanted to draw.
“Back when I was drinking and using, I used to imagine things that weren’t there," he said. "And then I got sober and two robots called me and asked me to make an album.” ~ Paul Williams
In honor of Daft Punk winning so many Grammy's I dusted off the duo and shot a couple in their honor! — with Daft Punk.
My Daft Punk transformation is complete.
Also, I have a new screen name. I'm looking into buying another pro account so I can use this account for photography as well.
