This shows the nylon spacers of a couple different sizes, that can be interchanged to make smaller or longer tube beads. You will need two threaded rods, 4 wing nuts for the rod, 5 blades, and 8 nylon spacers for each cutter. I use 4 smaller ones to act as a spacer on the ends before the wing nuts. I have secured one wing nut on each rod with duct tape and just unscrew the other end to change out the nylon spacers.

August garden leaf cutter bee
I have only rarely seen leaf-cutter bees once in my garden - this one spent several minutes feeding on a large member of the daisy family. Their striking looks come from the specialised hairs on the lower body surface which are used to collect pollen - which is used to provision the leaf cells in which the eggs are laid. Semi-circular cut-outs on rose leaves can indicate the presence of these beautiful bees.
Designed by IDEO I think. I saw a presentation by someone at IDEO a few years ago on how they went about designing this pizza cutter. Field research baby!
