1 of 4 in the continuing theme of mass friendliness in blanket customer service.

1. Valued Customer

2. Pizza Connoisseur

3. Pizza Lover

4. Hello You

Received this from Domino's. It's addressed to VALUED CUSTOMER so made me fell very undervalued.

If you value me and know my home address, then you should know my name.

Poor show.

However... I opened it out of interest (don't get much paper mail these days and miss opening real things) and it included a half decent offer from my nearest Domino's branch.

This made me happy(er).

Was it a cunning plan to have their offer cheer me up after making me feel worthless?

Or was it just poor attention to detail?

Who knows? And who wants pizza?

A week ago I went to a local McDonald's drive-thru and ordered two bacon breakfast sandwiches. When I got home I found they screwed up my order and gave me one bacon and one sausage sandwich.

I called the restaurant and asked them to refund the money for the sausage sandwich which went uneaten. The person I spoke to said they couldn't issue a refund to the credit card I used to pay for the sandwich. They wanted me to drive back to get my refund.

I filled out an online survey from my receipt and asked for a supervisor to contact me.

This is the supervisor's email reply. Note she wants me to reply to her in email but doesn't provide an email address other than the "donotreply@csmcd.net" the email came from.

"If you are able to contact me..." That's a BIG IF, I guess.

What appears to be a hard to explain situation. Looks like the mail carrier, while putting the mail into the boxes from the back side, shoved the cylinder through hard enough to unlatch the locked mail box. Maybe there's another explanation???

I love many of latest progress in PT Kereta Api Indonesia, our state-owned train company. From the company that was seen as very old, out of date, and having many problems, they are now moving some steps ahead to serve their passengers better. One of important improvements is in reservation system, an old story about problematics and chaotic ticketing system, especially during great holiday such as national school holiday and Eid ul-Fitr. Not yet perfect, but I appreciate their initiative to open "more ticketing windows" to post office, grocery stores, telephone system, and also web-based reservation; also they integrate the payment with our wide-scale banking system.

This photo is gifted to all my friends working in PT KAI – or have relation – who I had met on Flickr. Important to know that train related-people, here in Indonesia, have significant impact using Flickr to expose their daily shots, social networking among them and also to outsiders, and having fun to gathering. List of them who are friends of me is shown at right column, feel free to visit or to give cheers.

Saya juga telah menulis tentang langkah-langkah terakhir PT KAI di Facebook dan respon para pembaca semua positif dan penuh harapan:

* Peluncuran kereta Maguwo-Cilacap.

* Pemesanan karcis lewat web.

* Respon foto ini di Facebook.

Maju terus, kawan-kawan!

Let me tell you the secret that has led me to my goal. My strength lies solely in my tenacity. - Louis Pasteur

I am having the hardest time purchasing tickets to go California next summer. Silly, I know. It is not rocket science. Well, today I just found out that, living in this day and age, some companies don't accept wires as a form of payment. Instead they want me to pull several thousands of euros and walk with them in my pocket to a branch to physically make a deposit. Anachronic and stupid, don't you think?

Wishing I was a donkey sometimes. A whole field to roam around, only limited by some wire. Sun to soak, and nothing to do, and most importantly: no technology, no dealing with customer service department reps or stupid company policies... But my tenacity will make me prevail and I will get those tickets!

I forgot to bring my charger. I was desperate to find a charger bc I use my fitbit everyday to track my activity (it's important to me). I tweeted/FB'd my request to use someone's charger for 30 minutes, but it was fitbit that answered first, directing me to their customer service.

Customer service answered within hours & said they'd ship me a charger for free. And then guess what: an hour later I got an email from the CS rep Andrew, letting me know he'd personally delivered the fitbit to me (he biked up the hill to my house) and left it in my mailbox.

EPIC. Amazeballs.

Customer Service Support Story of the Year.

I love my fitbit (it keeps me healthy/moving & I've lost 20 lbs using it)...and now I feel even better about the company behind the device.

This restores some of my faith in the world.

Also Andrew is an A+ player.
