Maryland Department of Natural Resources employee Brian Stupak was honored by the Hogan Administration with the Customer Service Heroes Award for July. Stupak, a project manager with the Maryland Forest Service, was presented a citation by Lieutenant Governor Boyd Rutherford before the July 26 Board of Public Works meeting.

The Library held a series of staff development sessions for Access Services at the new Library Administrative Center which included healthy and productive conversations about challenged books, the freedom to read, and self-care strategies to manage workplace stresses. Staff also had an opportunity to ask Library leadership any questions that were on their mind. Light refreshments, lunch, and activities were provided throughout the day.

Caught bus from Gwynneville to Wollongong with transfer ticket then paid extra 4.30 because driver didn't accept transfer ticket - then when I sat down he said he wanted to look at my ticket - I told him I can't walk to him, he would have to come to me - agitated tried to find the ticket - I said don't worry - it's too late - just drive and I will be making a report and chapter in my biography of the life of a severely disabled person and the looks, stares and comments of the people on the bus which makes me sink into agoraphobia 90% of the time
