Had a lovely beach walk with my youngest granddaughter the other day. For a change she was in the mood to let me take a few photos, which is a real rarity.
having pulled off his bandage Curly scored a new bandage and a special prize - an E-collar! Courtesy of Aunt Lisa of course.
After a case of mistaken identity, the real Curly returns (still crestless). I guess this is a permanent condition, but he seems to be an otherwise healthy, happy bird.
Taken on a recent walk around Orwell Country park with my 50mm and Raynox DCR250 combo. Looking at the exif I could have used a slight smaller aperture to get a bit more in focus as the shutter speed was 1/400 so I had a bit of room for manoeuvre!

I have no problem with good, constructive criticism and critique as it's a good way to learn and improve so please don't be scared to tell me if you don't like my photo, or you have ways of improving it!
Shot at the South Curl Curl Tidal pool. Not a lot was happening that morning unfortunately. Its a single exposure taken with a Cokin GND8. The rocks are lit from the dreaded Sodium lights that illuminte the pool hence the sidelight.
The shot below is "that" dog from the previous post....hmmmm.
Have a great weekend.
Something in my setting is putting silver to her lips, whoops.
