I found these little oddities outside the replica of Green Gables in Cavendish, Prince Edward Island. What are they? Why are they curly? Why is there purple in the background? The great questions of life. All I know is that they eat these in Nova Scotia, or at least in the wee town of Cheticamp.
Good question. In my youth (and even now) I had no problem being a boy. I liked boy stuff; I loved girls. Yet even then there was something else going on. As now, back then I enjoyed the company of girls. I didn't precisely identify with them, but there were aspects of femininity that I found fascinating.
Obviously, I still do :)
Talking to the horses.
Curly has taken up with the horses and would graze with them in the veld.
When the horses' caretaker whistles for them to come and get their feed, he is usually first at the feeding place!
Sometimes he will disappear for three weeks and will simply appear one day as if he only skipped yesterday's meal.

Different coloured pasta found at the back of a cupboard. All I need now is some sauce and that is tonight's dinner sorted.

Curly grows his own tomatoes and sells them at the Farmers Market in Portland where I saw him today.
He wasn't too talkative, but he let me make his portrait.

We wanted to try the much acclaimed hang out place in Goa - the Curlies Shack. This place was almost impossible to find, located in the most narrowest lanes with non existent sign boards. In the end was kind of a disappointment, I would prefer buying a bottle of beer and drinking it on a beach.
The service was extremely slow, the food served almost at the verge of us breaking down with hunger. Waiters idling around. This is one of the places basking in glory of it's popularity.
