Mosaic cross made with Franciscan Bird n Hand Vintage China, some of my broken potter, gemstones, heart tiles

I was inspired to do the cross after seeing the two birds on the cup and then a little heart tile that I thought would look good with it. A very fun piece to do

I got the cool china pieces and cup from cocomo - she is the queen of awesome china tiles!

I drive George nuts with this. These are all the glasses with varying amounts of water that I bring to bed with me and forget to bring back out the next morning. Plus one cup when I had tea in there one evening.

I don't know why I do this but I may need help.

This was my first attempt at a bokeh photo!

Items used:

- White poster board with black velvet covering it

- Purple lights

- Boo cup from Target

- Canon 580EX II

- Canon 7D

- Canon EF 50mm f/1.2 L USM

A cup of Bokeh. I used christmas lights to get the bokeh along with a wide aperture and a fast shutter speed. I bumped up the ISO to achieve a more grainy look.
