Clean cup for a coffee

I found these hornsea cups/mugs at the salvation army today. They seem newer than my other one but I love the shape of the handle.

Jon and I now share a love for coffee. (I finally learned!) Normally we use our Keurig but occasionally he uses a percolator which he did this morning and he handed me this cup. You know I adore him ( :

This was so interesting. In the space of two days a tea cup I use and a tea pot I use both broke. I've been using these for over 2 decades. These didn't fall on the floor to break. No. They just came apart. RIP.

I had just promised myself that I wouldn't post any more shots from the archives for a while, but today clearly needs more of this.

The Melbourne Cup is Australia's most prestigious horse race and the richest "two-mile" handicap in the world. Conducted by the Victoria Racing Club on the Flemington Racecourse as part of the spring carnival in Melbourne, Victoria, the event starts at 3pm on the first Tuesday in November and is known locally as "the race that stops a nation".
