CARDENAL GEORGE PELL CULPABLE DE ABUSO INFANTIL.
La iglesia sigue de mal en peor, Gorge Pell el funcionario de mayor rango del vaticano fue condenado ayer a seis años por abuso infantil a niños del coro de su iglesia.
Este depredador sexual no mostró ninguna emoción al momento de ser condenado por el Juez Peter Kidd en el tribunal del condado de Victoria en Melbourne. El agresor sexual de 77 años fue declarado culpable de un cargo de penetración y acto indecente con un niño a finales del año pasado, después de un juicio fuera de la vista del público y que se extendió por 5 semanas.
Pell ocupo el puesto de tesorero del Vaticano, al que muchos consideran como la tercera posición de importancia dentro del imperio de la iglesia católica.

I've previously photographed an ancient Grey Mangrove at Shelly Beach at Red Head, commenting on its rare location and on its age and on my worst-case fears that an act of vandalism or a natural catastrophe could one day damage this rare tree.
This tree, one of a very small group, only one other of which has reached a reasonable size, had stood as a sentinel on the southern end of the Shelly Beach, having been in that location struggling for survival for possibly many hundreds of years.
If it could talk it would no doubt tell epic stories of indigenous people coming to this beach to catch fish and just enjoy its tranquility.
I found and photographed this tree after it had been cut down and the various bits removed by persons unknown 30 metres to a location near the entrance from the beach to the rainforest walking track on June 24th 2016.
How the tree was killed remains a mystery but I am led to believe it was blown over by a serious storm which hit the area in late June 2016 and I am hoping that the chainsaw cuts in it are from someone who simple attempted to drag it up the beach out of the way of beachgoers.
I spoke to a few members of the Landcare team who looked after Red Head Littoral Rainforest Reserve and no-one was able to tell me how the tree was damaged.
The worst-case scenario, which I hope wasn't the case, is that someone has shown culpable disrespect for this ancient sentinel and cut the tree down in an act of lunacy.
Any information on the circumstances of how this rare mangrove tree met its end is welcomed.

There are a number of versions though, which actually suggest that the incident was a spontaneous.

In the same story the Frontlinealso mentions that VHP hooligans had been continuously tormenting local Muslim populations. It does notneed too much foresight to imagine the kind of situation that this would lead to. Keeping in view theaggressive attitude of the Ramsevaks and also the heightened communal tension in the country theGujarat govt, is all the more guilty for actually facilitating the movement of the Ramsevaks. While theGujarat govt. has been eager to portray the incident as being premeditated, the TOI (3 March) noted that.
this brings the govt. ineptitude and inability to take decisive action into much sharper focus. In fact far from.

Sangh's selective politics of using the Godhra incident was faithfully reflected in JNU by the ABVP, which.
organized a procession on the night of 281h Feb. against the incident. The most objectionable slogans that.
were inflammatory in nature and a clear incitement to violence were shouted and the ABVP hasmaintained a criminal silence on the later Gujarat pogroms choosing to issue not even a single pamphlet,.
