Grog’s bulging veins throbbed beneath his thick skin, a pulsating echo of his heart pounding in his chest. His eyes were clouded, his pupils dilated with feverish excitement.
The Crypt of Kings, a legend whispered around campfires, and its elusive treasure had haunted him night and day for decades. He had scoured the darkest depths, faced the most monstrous creatures, all for this day. His trembling hands gripped his weapon a little tighter at the sight of the massive doors finally standing before him.
A rosy glow filtered through the crack, a promise of unimaginable wealth. The solitary orc, teetering on the edge of insanity, was about to cross the threshold, driven by an insatiable thirst for gold and glory.

Down in the crypt of Canterbury Cathedral. Built between 1096 and 1100, it's the oldest part of the cathedral. Rather interestingly you can book weddings down here!
English
Freising Cathedral, also called Saint Mary and Corbinian Cathedral (German: Mariendom), is a romanesque basilica in Freising, Bavaria. It is the co-cathedral of the Catholic Archdiocese of Munich and Freising.
In the centre of the cathedrals crypt one of the most distinguished sculptures in Europe is located: the so called Bestiensäule (the column of beasts), carved out of stone in the high Middle Ages.
Deutsch

The Shroud Crypt stretches like a cathedral carved from silence itself. High above, hundreds of golden stasis-lanterns hang suspended, each one a tomb of light housing a dreaming soul. Their glow casts long, ritual shadows across walls inscribed with vertical columns of machine-script—endless prayer-code etched into sacred stone.
Hooded figures stand in total stillness, as if awaiting something long forgotten. Their robes absorb the glow, untouched by time. The floor beneath is cracked in perfect concentric rings—like a broken ritual seal—suggesting this chamber was meant to contain more than memory.
At the heart stands a lone silhouette, draped in black. Whether a mourner, a pilgrim, or something older is unclear. Behind them, the corridor opens toward a radiant, unreachable gate, its light seeming to call the names no one remembers.
This is not a crypt.
It is a liturgical engine built to preserve what no longer wishes to be known.
St. Joseph's Church is a Franciscan Roman Catholic church in the Old City of Nazareth, modern-day Northern Israel. It was built in 1914 over the remains of much older churches. It is located close to the Church of the Annunciation. It was built in the Romanesque Revival style.[1]
The church is built on the site of the Church of Nutrition quoted by the pilgrim Arculfe about 670 in "De locis sanctis" (II, 26), then a church of the crusaders of the Kingdom of Jerusalem, whose vestiges are under the crypt, and a Franciscan church built in the 17th century. This history is described by the Franciscan Quaresmius in his "Historica, theologica et moralis terrae sanctae elucidatio", written between 1616 and 1626, but merely affirms the existence ab antiquo of the tradition of a cult in this place, without giving evidence.

Happy Halloween!
This is MOC-reinterpretation of the LEGO Studios set #1391 - Vampire‘s Crypt. It is part of a little online collab for Halloween. Check out the other builder‘s streams linked below.
The so-called Charles Vault with the sarcophagi of Charles VI, Holy Roman Emperor from 1711 to 1740, on the front right, his wife Elisabeth Christine of Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel opposite on the left and Joseph I, Emperor from 1705 to 1711, at the back in the middle.
Charles was the younger brother of Joseph, both were the sons of emperor Leopold I. Charles VI and Elisabeth Christine were the parents of Maria Theresa.
Vampire's Crypt
Something I've been wanting to build ever since Lego released those candelabra pieces.
This is a slightly smaller variation of the digital set revamp I made of the Lego Studios Vampire Crypt. With a few alterations here and there.
Seeing as I added Rodney Rathbone this could be seen as either an additional prequel or sequel to the Monster fighters sets.
