Lake Constance is a lake on the Rhine at the northern foot of the Alps. The lake is situated in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Lake Constance is central Europe's third largest lake. It is 63 km long, and at its widest point, nearly 14 km. It covers approximately 571 km2 and is 395 m above sea level. The greatest depth is 252 metres.

Made a cold, Danish-Japanese inspired, sauce to fried fish, spinach and mash the other evening.
Came out pretty nice actually...
Crossover is part of my Symmetry Series and it brings together my love of Photography and painting.
Both mediums create images by using light and shadow. With Crossover, I want to show that place where real and imagined collide.
Really it's just litter, but it's fascinating to see what happens when you add cultural landmarks to the landscape.
CP 678 crosses over from Main 2 to Main 1 at Grand Ave as they coast into Milwaukee with tanks in tow.

I had the idea for this shot a couple of days ago, but could never get it quite right. Either the shutter speed was wrong or I struggled to hold the camera steady. Having explained to the guy taking his break what I was up to, he was happy for me to carry on and it didn't take long this time to get the image I was after.
Ok...jumpin on the Daz bandwagon and trying to figure it out. I am stubborn and hate to read directons or watch tuts...jump in and make it work...my motto!!

The U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds solo pilots perform a Crossover Break. Seen at the 2021 Thunder Over Michigan Airshow, sponsored by the Yankee Air Museum.
This crossover leads from Dowding Way into the surrounding countryside... Underneath one can hear the trains that go to and fro from London rush past (which is about 45 minutes away). Two of the reasons why I like this town is because you're never more than a twenty minute walk from open fields and lush green woodland... And it takes under an hour to get to the capital.
Do not be afraid to go out on a limb... That's where the fruit is.
