The "2015" date is wrong.
People crossing the Boston Common on the main path to (and from) the Public Garden.
The Second Severn Crossing (SSC) photographed contre-jour from Black Rock Point. This bridge was opened 5 June 1996 to ease pressure on the original Severn Bridge, opened 8 September 1966. The SSC was designed to better withstand the strong winds which frequently close the original bridge. Tolls for both are an eye watering £6.00 (as at 1 January 2012). Both bridges, currently owned by a French company, are due to revert to public ownership in 2017.
A merged picture but the signs do point every which way on this section of coast as the coast path zigs and zags up and down three seriously steep valleys.
This is the old crossing sign that stood beside the MP and the UP at Ash Hill, MO. It appears in other pictures on my Flickr page...in my yard. It was replaced by the highly reflective newer UP signs in 2001 or 2002.

On the DFDS ferry MS 'Delft Seaways'.
Delft Seaways is a ro-pax ferry owned and operated by DFDS Seaways. She is the one of three sister ships designed for the cross-Channel route from Dover to Dunkerque, capable of making the crossing in one hour and 45 minutes. Delft Seaways is a Scandinavian designed ship built at the Samsung shipyards in South Korea in 2005. She sails under the flag of the United Kingdom and her port of registry is Dover.

When horses were used for basic transportion in America many long bridges were built like this one, with a roof and sides. Horses could become frightened when crossing a long bridge, but if the bridge was covered the horses could not see the water they were crossing, and so, were not frightened. Also, the roof kept snow off the bridge, which could be dangerous after it melted and froze.

OSR Tillsonburg Job is northbound at 14:10, returning from its chores in Tillsonburg with OSR 378 & 383, 7 tanks and 2 hoppers. Crossing Dereham Line at 1410. Crossing through our farm. Last week we were able to combine some of the corn, but some of it is still out in the field. Harvest 2014 is a slow and painful process. Its been a wet fall making it hard to get out on the fields in good conditions. A big wind came last week and blew a lot of the remaining corn down, causing the rest of the fall harvest to be even more painful.
44422 crossing the level crossing at the Stibbington end of the Nene Valley Railway. Our trip there was not on railway business but bus business, collecting air change box and sundries for Ribble PD3 although we did get a tour of a class 40 :-)
