It never fails. I always seem to pick things apart. I had this terrific portrait and I was loving it, then I realized I have forsaken the rule of thirds. So I corrected the crop and processed to a sepia tone. Let me know which you prefer.
Top is sewn using an Adams-Harris pattern, "All Dolled Up".
Pants are also from an Adams-Harris Pattern, "Heaven Sent".

On a magnificent Spring day, this photograph was taken on the rim of the San Bernardino Mountains in southern California. Barely visible in the valley below are the cities of Riverside, San Bernardino, Redlands and others.
As I was leaving Elkhorn Slough, I saw this cheery heron weathervane and grabbed a picture. I like the copper color against the blue sky. Cropped to 16x9 for use as a desktop background
been playing with different aspect ratios for cropping (previously 16:9, now cinema). the narrower crop on this photo was necessitated by some distracting foreground elements.
as cheesy as the "the best camera is the one you have with you" mantra is, I'm glad that I always have a capable point-and-shoot in my backpack.
