The summer of 2018 was a very dry time for much of Britain. As a result, crop marks appeared marking where buildings had previously stood.
These crop marks at Ankerwycke most likely indicate the site of changing rooms connected with a boathouse..
Crop duster flying down the road. It came up from behind and I could hear it. As soon as I saw what it was I grabbed my camera.

For Take a Class with Dave & Dave, Crazy Crop assignment...it's something like 2.5 wide by 11 high, so I hope that counts as craziness ;)
Entered in Texas Intercollegiate Press Association's 2-man photo essay 2009, won honorable mention. The topic was "The Big City," and I shared the award with another photographer. I chose to shoot a homeless man because homelessness is a rampant social issue in big cities.
The original photo was color, but after suggestions by some flickrites I changed it to B&W and cropped out some of the foreground because it was distracting.

Description: This field was drilled late Sept/early Oct with Fixation Balansa, Dixie Crimson, Vallana Hairy Vetch. Oats, peas, and rape were drilled March 10-12, 2017 on partially frozen ground. 1000 acres were done this way. By midnight the ground would get too hard, so waited until next day to begin again.
