Where I live now (the urban north-west of England!) is mainly grain crops and vegetables with little or no animal farming. Amazing these days how quickly grain crops, such as the barley here, develop from germination to be ready for harvest.

A working man collecting paddy from field in Bangladesh. Its a hot afternoon, and has to collect crop as much as he can before dusk. Parrots from the hills behind come in the evening and raid the crop fields.
