We made a short 4 day-trip to Tuscany last week.
Beneath buying some wine and visiting some restaurants we made some daytrips to different locations.
This shot was made in Le Crete, lying southeast to Siena.
Breathtaking nature, espacially in the spring - even if the weather was cloudy and sometimes rainy, too.
The brighter parts of the lawn are different kinds of grass amd flowers - no sunlight

This fine old house in Chandia, Crete is now used for a translation services business. Pleased to see that very little how the exterior has been altered.

Network and broadcasting obsessed, Crete has learned how to access the stream of data that circles the globe and uses her extensions to play with it however she will.

A fun, relatively quick build that started out as a way to use the Dark Orange that I bought in a bricklink order from a while back, and turned into this. She was really fun to make. :D

Some old holiday snaps... great memories.
Crete has beautiful landscapes, mountains everywhere and driving thru the mountains in the South is fantastic. Quality of the roads varies, as you can see here, there are no guardrails and at night no streetlights.

The church was built as a mosque in the Nineteenth Century and subsequently converted into a Greek Orthodox church.

The Crete Senesi are a large expanse of clay, modeled in hills and valleys, in the territory that extends south-east of Siena, in the heart of its province, between Chianti and Val d’Orcia. It is one of the most evocative landscapes that can be admired in the whole region, both for the unmistakable color and for the sensations it evokes.
Lush green fields, early spring in the Crete Senesi near Siena in Tuscany, Italy. Taken with my drone (I injured my knee pretty badly the first evening of my trip which prevented my from hiking and walking. Fortunately I brought my drone with me...;-))
