After a plate of snails I was still hungry. So I asked if the restaurant could give me a small order of lamb chops and fries. The waitress said she could get me a kiddie meal which contains 2 chops instead of 4. And I was happy. While waiting I decided to sketch the French couple in the next table. They seemed surprised at the volume of food I consumed. They only got a beer.

Some old holiday snaps... great memories.
Crete has beautiful landscapes, mountains everywhere and driving thru the mountains in the South is fantastic. Quality of the roads varies, as you can see here, there are no guardrails and at night no streetlights.
Lush green fields, early spring in the Crete Senesi near Siena in Tuscany, Italy. Taken with my drone (I injured my knee pretty badly the first evening of my trip which prevented my from hiking and walking. Fortunately I brought my drone with me...;-))
