A forestry themed place setting earned Cheryl Nelson of Crenshaw County first place and $150 in the State Tablescapes Contest sponsored by the Alabama Farmers Federation Women’s Leadership Division. The contest was part of the Federation’s 43rd Commodity Producers Conference in Montgomery July 30-Aug. 2.

I took a lot of pictures of 'Sidewalk Ridazz' on this walk. Because Crenshaw is such a car-centric street, most bike riders prefer to use the sideWALK.

This walk more than any other had me chasing disappearing sidewalks. Lots of abrupt sidewalk detours along Crenshaw.

Warrick studies pre-agriscience education.The $1,750 scholarship was funded by the Crenshaw County Farmers Federation and the Federation’s Alabama Farmers Agriculture Foundation.
