“Creativity is more than just being different. Anybody can plan weird; that's easy. What's hard is to be as simple as Bach. Making the simple, awesomely simple, that's creativity.”

A few months ago, the Tate Modern in London published a call for artists under 25 to explore possibilities for the future of art and I´m glad to say that this photograph was accepted in the call and formed part of a digital show at the Tate Modern during the last weekend.
"Artificial Creativity" is officially my first work to be exhibited in Europe.
I would like thank first of all to Tate Collectives for launching this wonderful open call and for considering my photo for this project. Thanks to all the artists that inspired this photograph, especially my beloved Frida Kahlo, Hieronymus Bosch, Brian Oldham... Thanks to Aldous Huxley for his great novel "Brave New World" which served me as base for this work.
Thanks to my dearest Francesca Woodman, Brooke Shaden, Marwane Pallas, Lee Miller for being the constant inspiration for my photographs. Also thanks to Pietro Tenerani for sculpting this magnificent "Faun" that has been my model and companion in this and many other photographs.
Finally, I want to give thanks for the opportunity of making and sharing this work and a special thank to my cousins for being able to go and see the show. Thank you so much for the pictures you send me. You made of this experience something more special.

Or you can listen to your fears and close your mind.
