Yesterday I started to solve the question of what to do with the six cardboard boxes which Carney no longer needed to sleep, hide, hang out in. I could not throw them out! They were his! After cutting them down into workable pieces my friend Kate and I painted them.

We were supposed to bring a project to work on. After I finished sewing a button on a jacket I just walked around and watched everyone else work. I told them one of the things I do to nurture my creativity is write long captions for photos I post on flickr. Here one of my colleagues is organizing her recipe collection. We all agreed that the best part of this day was getting to hang out together. We, who are in business for ourselves, are sorely in need of human contact.
On February 22, our friends at Cut&Paste organized a boozy design game blending new friends in foursomes to sketch inspiring fun concepts collaboratively - Shuffle @ FITC. All FITC attendees were invited to play.
