The Kunsthaus Tacheles is a former department store which since 1990 houses a self-organized collective of artists on Oranienburger Straße (old Jewish quarter) in Berlin-Mitte. The word "Tacheles" comes from a Yiddish word for "plain, honest, straightforward talk".
Tacheles has a very long and interesting history - if you wish to know something more:
It represents - somehow - what Berlin is to me: a strange, intense, deep, contradictory, fascinating "body" of past and present, creativity and culture, history and future, memory and oblivion, richness and poverty, west and east, europe and world ...

I haven't been very active online since mid-December. However, we've started 2018 at Stuck in Plastic with a new challenge centered around 52 human values and emotions. I've decided to celebrate our first word of the year, creativity, by reposting my very first picture of T-Rap (or Frankensteinosaurs as I was calling him back then).
Creativity without Photoshop. This photo was shot by creating artificial smoke. No Phtoshop involved (except for cropping). No Fire was ignited! Thanks Evan for teaching me the trick

While exploring a beach, about 5 mins from my home, while Peggy & Ted were visiting. A local guy, named Stan, has built these art installations that look like benches and armchairs and a barbecue pit.. They feel comfortable when you sit on them and enjoy the scenery. Best seen large by pressing L or Z.
