The Roycroft Campus, the Roycroft way of life and its story began in 1897 with Elbert Hubbard a legendary man of vision who founded the American Arts and Crafts Movement in East Aurora NY. For more than 20 years, the Roycroft Campus was a center of entrepreneurship, creativity and learning. It was a hub of activity with over five hundred working artisans and craftsmen and drew visitors from faraway places.

The Kunsthaus Tacheles is a former department store which since 1990 houses a self-organized collective of artists on Oranienburger Straße (old Jewish quarter) in Berlin-Mitte. The word "Tacheles" comes from a Yiddish word for "plain, honest, straightforward talk".

I love the backlighting! The first car train into Toton (the first outbound was a couple of days ago), 6X13 from Dollands Moor with a load of Toyota Aygos. It has to run forwards and is backing into the new loading/unloading pad behind the paint shop. Rows of cars waiting for loading can be seen in the distance on the new hardstanding. With a couple of trains a week to and from Toton, through the Channel Tunnelthen France and the Czech Republic, loaded both ways, this will be a welcome new flow.

1Z10 competition - category 'creative'. The creativity was mostly in getting the camera to the right position (safely), this shot is one frame from the drone, shadows deepened, highlights on rails bought out, dehaze on the sky. The 'scoop' of the first Toyota train into Toton was an added bonus.
