I'm knitting a pair of wool socks for Annie. I'm not completely satisfied with this pattern. I think I will try one of the patterns I got from Anna (http://www.flickr.com/photos/effyblog/) instead.
It was fun to knit with the multi-coloured yarn!
On Friday 8th July 2022, we held a graduation ceremony for 169 students from the MSc in Marketing & Creativity (MMK) Classes of 2020, 2021 and 2022 at the magnificent Théâtre des Folies Bergères in Paris.
We were very proud and happy to see our three MMK cohorts getting together and celebrating their achievements under the one roof!
We extend our warm congratulations to all graduates and wish you all a tremendous success in your future endeavours!

Cultivating Creativity: Art from the OSU Art About Agriculture Permanent Collection is an art exhibition featuring works of art acquired for the collection from artists who live, or have lived, in Marion, Polk and Yamhill Counties.
Art for this show was selected from the Art About Agriculture permanent collection, which comprises more than 200 works of fine art in such media as paintings, photographs, prints, sculpture, assemblage, drawings, collage, mixed media and textiles.
Additionally, three artists who are not represented in the permanent collection, Dale Bunse from Independence, Jodie Raborn from Salem, and Ginny Adelsheim from Yamhill County, have been invited to participate in the show.
Reaching beyond simply illustrating agriculture, the 30 artists represented have created profound works of art that connect us to an array of agricultural enterprises and products, cultivated landscapes, and the abundant natural resources of the Willamette Valley and other parts of the Pacific Northwest. Their works enlighten and deepen our appreciation of agriculture and natural resources in our lives.
It is especially meaningful to display these works of art at the time of year customarily associated with gathering, harvests and the rewards of sharing during the holiday season. Traditionally at this time of year, the agricultural labors of planting and tending crops have reached fruition just as the dormant months set in, and young livestock animals need less tending as they reach maturity. Agriculture’s and Nature’s cycles for rest and renewal have arrived, as well as special times for people to celebrate in community hubs like the Willamette Heritage Center.

The play examined the real phenomenon of elderspeak – a negative way of communicating with older adults using a form of baby talk or ignoring the elder and speaking to the caregiver, or making assumptions about limitations of the elder.

After the post in the blog about organizing art supplies, I spent Saturday morning (today) organizing my creativity cupboard. I put most of the art supplies in boxes, so that I can remove them and take them to the kitchen table or my bedroom floor when I want to get creative. I thought I would share the photo because I love seeing how others organize all their stuff and find it really inspiring!
When creativity hits, it hits hard! Like technicolor vomit, multicolored fart hard!

My advice is found on page 47.
Just so they know, walking into the door to your room is where they turn on their creativity. This is the perfect poster to put above the stage, over the art door threshold, pointing to the pencil can or wherever you want them to begin imagining. They need to know.
