Art is a personal act of courage, something one human does that creates change in another. ― Seth Godin

Harmony and Balance, so much needed in our lives today. Here are some samples of rock balancing done by ordinary folks in Humber Bay Park. It is free and so very relaxing to try and get the rocks to balance on each other.

Wishing you more balance and harmony in your life and in mine too:) Stay blessed. It is a hazy, warm day today on our public holiday to celebrate Queen Victoria's birthday.

Once an important building,

but with tons of creative minds,

it appears Red.

Red, does not necessary means Fail, or Wrong (education system can be misleading; Red is usually used to symbolized Wrong / Fail).

Red Dot Museum is an outstanding example that RED does not means negative.

Its a sign of creativity & possibilities.

I got another word for it...

Reading about creativity: “...studies have shown that the bipolar mood swings most frequently associated with manic-depressive syndromes can also lead to increased creativity."

Group workshop for EPSRC Programme Grant

The Maha Lakshmi Yajna is a favourite annual event here at Shree Peetha Nilaya, but with the challenges of travel restrictions and social distancing still in place, special creativity had to come into play for this year.

While it may have looked like a small, limited-attendance private event in Germany, the entire event was broadcast live to the world. Special features included a talk by Rishi Akashananda; a video from devotees all singing one of Gurudev's favourite bhajans, 'Sabse Ouchi, Prema Sagai'; the main yagna presided over by Gurudev; and behind Him, a yajna ceremony on the lawn, where the SPN Residents were pujaris for 50 personally-sponsored yajna kunds. The day was warm and sunny, with clear blue skies that carried the recitation of thousands of mantras to Maha-Lakshmi on the Spring breeze, all focused on devoting one's heart and mind to the Goddess of material and spiritual wealth.

It's cool because there's an instruction on every page what you should do with it. Sounds like huge fun!!

We're all still growing up. Maybe by the time this little man can fill his daddy's shoes, I'll feel like I'm worth of being deemed a grown up.

Blogged more thoughts over here

I started using a vector illustration app called inkpad recently, and

so far, like what I see. Drawing with vectors is more like building a

sculpture than sketching something, but I like how crisp the results

end up. I don't spend that much time at a traditional computer

anymore, so when a great creative app comes out for the iPad (from a

proven developer) I am excited to try it out. I look forward to some

more features, like path joining and merging shapes, and expanding

text into editable paths.

A friend and I experimented with wetting old books, shaping and cutting them, then drying them (http://theshoppingsherpa.blogspot.com/2011/01/books-in-bath.html ).

These are the results...
