Rahyll was one of my interns in the House of Representatives. I usually see her reading in this corner. She wrote a policy paper on a very controversial issue: Population Management in the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao. She had the best policy paper among the 19 who made it in my Batch 7 of interns.
Using stark upward perspective on this modern building's facade, I created an abstract study in geometric patterns. The monochromatic treatment emphasizes the sharp angles and repetitive elements, transforming functional architecture into a graphic composition.
Captured with an Insta360 camera in the beech forest of Stokke, this image bends winter inward.
Snow becomes sky, trees transform into orbiting lines, and the forest closes in on itself like a quiet universe. What is usually walked through is now looked down upon — a shift in perspective where season, geometry, and stillness meet.
Winter doesn’t silence the forest here; it redraws it.
Fun fact: Beech forests remain visually expressive in winter because of their tall, straight trunks and sparse canopies — making them especially well suited for 360° photography and so‑called “little planet” perspectives.
Found at LRT Sta Cruz Station. The lady is a passenger and the other one is a stand-up cardboard life-sized photo of an unknown advertisement.
Through careful composition of architectural elements, I created this abstract study where white lines intersect against pure black. The precise arrangement transforms a building's functional features into a geometric ballet of light and shadow.

In this black-and-white composition, the ropes symbolize the invisible forces that shape and bind our thoughts. Are we held by external hands or by the intricate webs we weave within our own minds?
I chose to photograph this street light as an urban sculpture, isolating it against the sky. The minimal composition emphasizes its elegant design, while the warm glow of the lamps creates points of interest in the geometric composition.
Il y a des paysages qui nous touchent plus que d’autres. Des endroits où l’on aimerait pouvoir s’arrêter, respirer profondément et oublier, le temps d’un instant, tout ce qui nous retient ailleurs.
Cette vue, c’est exactement ce dont j’ai besoin. L’océan, le bruit des vagues, la chaleur du soleil qui disparaît à l’horizon… Il y a quelque chose dans ces moments qui m’apaise et me donne envie de tout laisser derrière moi.
Mon rêve, c’est de partir le plus vite possible, de retrouver ces panoramas, de vivre davantage de ces instants et de me sentir libre, face à l’immensité de la mer.
Un jour, je l’espère, ce ne sera plus seulement un paysage que je photographie, mais un endroit où je pourrai enfin me sentir à ma place.

A single piece of fusilli pasta rests in the darkness, transformed by magnification into something far removed from the kitchen table. The familiar spiral becomes an abstract landscape of curves and shadows, inviting the eye to travel along its flowing form. What begins as a simple ingredient suddenly resembles a seashell, a sculpture, or even a distant galaxy suspended in space.
Macro photography has a remarkable ability to reveal hidden beauty in everyday objects. By isolating a humble piece of pasta against a deep black background, the image shifts focus from function to form, celebrating design, texture, and the quiet elegance that often goes unnoticed in daily life.
Fun Fact: The spiral shape of fusilli is not merely decorative. The twisted form was designed to hold sauces more effectively than straight pasta, allowing flavours to cling to every curve. The name fusilli comes from the Italian word fuso, meaning "spindle", referring to the traditional method of twisting pasta around a rod during production.
You must break out of your current comfort zone and become comfortable with the unfamiliar and the unknown.

A minimalist composition exploring the 'quiet as a fish' concept—juxtaposing the stark contrast of a synthetic doll’s pale form with the dark tones of a fish placed diagonally over her eyes. This fine art black-and-white photo reflects themes of alienation, isolation, and the inner struggle to break silence and express individuality.
Seen through a narrow gap, a corner of Basel appears both close and distant. The view turns ordinary life into a small stage where a man leans against a lamppost, a cyclist passes, and the city unfolds behind a wall.

Looking straight up at this urban building, I wanted to capture how modern architecture creates unexpected geometries in our cities. The curved arrangement of windows and structural elements forms an abstract pattern against the dark sky, transforming a familiar urban structure into something more mysterious and compelling. The black and white treatment emphasizes the pure architectural forms and the dramatic interplay of lines and space.
