So I decided to start a 52 Week Project and this is the first of many. I had such a hard time trying to decide what I wanted to express and how I wanted to present the concept. The reason in being is because I am my own worst critic. But I will see this project like the beginning chapter of letting go all my fears and setting myself free to the world of possibilities . I see this as the beginnings of my creative journey.
So this is what this picture represents, I begin the creative journey by washing away the old and welcoming the new. From this point on, growth will only come. So to a new beginning, my creative year.
Welcome 2012! =)

the last shot of the day and the last photo taken with my Sony a7ii is of this Trabant, quite a rare sight in the UK, left on the pavement in the centre of town. I love how some old cars just look good in any setting even if as cars they are quite basic, that's their charm for me
Close-up of one of the seven CREE led's from the Led-Lenser-X21 torch. Shot this with a reversed 50mm lens.
Strobist info:
Two flashes used.
The 430 itself fired with a cactus v4 trigger @1/8 power to lighten the bulb.
Another flash was triggered to lighten the "speedlite 430exII" name. This one was placed on the ground pointing upwards and it has been softened by a bunch of white sheets of paper (it's an old old flash, no power setting..)
Made by a supper creative mom- Van Gogh cook. They are not chocolate bread, although they look like chocolate-flavoured bread.

During this shot something in the tool went wrong and I ended up with a broken broken orb tool. Some key components need re-thinking but that's what you get with a taped prototype I guess. The principle behind the tool works very good so i more then happy with the results of this small project so far.
