This took way too many steps so if I ever do it again I will have to simplify or never ever do it again, whew!
on a positive note I found how to remove stubborn nail polish(too many layers and/or glitter polish). Looking it up online, others have bemoaned how hard it is to remove glitter polish and gave these steps to easy removal:
1.)dab a piece of napkin(cut 10 pieces into 1"X2") or small cotton ball in acetone polish remover
2.) lay on nail with stubborn polish(cover whole nail)
3.) wrap up the napkin covered nail with a 2"X4" rectangle of tin foil
4.) let nail polish remover soak for 5 minutes
5.) remove foil/napkin(voila! polish is smeary and can now be wiped off with same napkin)
6.) wash your hands
7.) clean up any leftover bits on your nail with a little more remover(it will be so much easier).
one extra tip: do one hand at a time or have someone help you with your second hand(my 7 year old daughter loved to help me with mine:))
