I made this birthday card for a friend of a friend actually. The white paper was wrinkled like usual to distress it but then i used the sparkley ink from a pen rubbed onto my finger to put it on the white. The words are made with alternating rub ons and hand written letters and the purple paper is attached with star eyelets.

The activity was so popular it became an ongoing, recurring Del Ray Artisans program now called Creative Card Swap. Two years after we began to swap and with over seventy-five artists around the country having participated, the 40th swap group is now forming.
Artists sign up for a one-time exchange (or “swap”) of handmade cards within a group of four participants. There is no cost to participate—except for the 3 postage stamps you’ll need to send your cards to the artists in your group. patched the Girl's jeans by placing a bit of blue and yellow Liberty fabric from Joey under the jeans and randomly machine sewing it to the jeans. She's pleased ... says it looks like boxers! :-)
