Visiting my parents today. This is my dad with Sam on the golf course near their home. We didn't meet a soul, and it was still a bit too cold for golfers.

Slices of toasted bread from Olga's, creamy ricotta from Narragansett Creamery, J.B. Hamann's local honey, fresh thyme and flaky Maldon salt. The dish is totally ganked from our favorite place in Brooklyn, Marlow and Sons, where we first had this combo.

We paired these with Pisco sours.

The ghost of the Centreville race track, originally known as the Eclipse Course, lies in the shadow of Aqueduct today. It operated from 1825 to 1899, but was never as famous as the nearby Union Course. It hosted both thoroughbred & harness races.
